2(1)(q) “Offence” means any act or omission made punishable by any law for the time being in force and includes any act in respect of which the provisions of the Animal Trespass Act, 1871 (1 of 1871) are punishable; Any complaint can be made under section 20;
The Code of Criminal Procedure is a procedural law of punishment created for the implementation of criminal law in India. When a crime is committed, the police investigates the incident through the criminal process and sends the charge sheet or final report to the court as a conclusion. On receipt of the report, the trial proceedings begin in the court and the court draws its final conclusion in the form of a decision. After the final decision the case is closed.
